Although Tohru has not regained his memory, he realizes that Jackie has helped him, while Valmont would sacrifice him, and he joins Jackie. In an attempt to bring Tohru back under his control, Valmont accidentally splashes himself with the amnesia potion and is handed over to the authorities.
