No wonder this is great since James Gunn wasn't involve in this, but I must say, the cop lady, she is pissing me off, have some bloody respect he is FUCKING GREEN LANTERN he has saved earth more times than she was taken a shit I mean she is literally just the Sheriff of a shitty 20 people village and she is probably only the sheriff because she has ties to whatever criminal is running the town, not that being a sheriff takes any skill or anything tbh. Plus why on God's earth would she ever think she knows better than a FREAKING SUPERHERO dude, the lady is like "you have no jurisdiction here"; LADY, HE IS THE GODDAMN GREEN LANTERN --HE IS THE LAW IN SECTOR 2614 FOR FUCKS SAKE-- not Sector 2614 BUT Earth. And the Judge dude, what a fucking a bitch wtf??? Really? 100 THOUSAND dollars for saying "come on"??? Mind you it was twice so 200K????????? Why are all this rednecks thinking they are some hot shit living in their shitty village where everybody is cousin of someone LMAO. Idk, either the writers are misogynists or making the females bitches is on purpose for some ulterior reason. Mind you my criticism would be the same if both the sheriff and the judge were males I just find it odd how every bitch character in this first episode at least was a female yk?

I'm really enjoying the show so far and I do like the green lantern construct effects BUT THEY ARE NOT GLOWING AND THAT IS SO ANNOYING I feel like I'm just watching an emerald thing not a GREEN LANTERN construct yk? But I know this is for budget reasons since the VFXs would be way harder to produce and compose and overall make them look good and that's money money money but well it's a shame.


BUT the constructs disappearing like dust is a bad choice imo they should just flash out of existence they are GREEN LANTERNS for fuck sake. I also must say that I hate the decision of not making them glow when they are flying nor their eyes HELL nor superheroes not having secret identities like what???? And also their suits actually being suits is such bullshit lmao. Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern movie is way better idc what anybody says AND YES IM AWARE THIS DECISION ARE MOSTLY MARKETING AND BUDGET INFORMED ONES (toys, apperances [yk for the kids with cancer and what not], etc) but none of them having a freaking mask is actually driving me over the edge. And the second episode doesn't help either you shall see, but c'mon there are 2 things a Green Lantern must protect with their life (just to save themselves btw) and it's their ring and their lantern. So anyone knowing who Hal Jordan is --specially in this town-- and then he leaving it there in his shanty motel room to go to ice planet and kiss his BFF is just jarring as fuck, might as well bring it with you. Oh well don't let my criticism deter you from watching the show tho. I THINK IS GREAT SO FAR. Do I love the treatment my boi Hal is getting? No. NOT AT ALL. But I'm letting them cook, he must be this way for a reason right? And his BFF being Patergast is perfect. But I wish we could actually see Hal and his BFF in their prime rather than out the gate for retirement. I do love John Stuart the actor they choose is peak and he is great as the character can't wait to see more of him.

Oh an slight spoilers alert... *Batman for shadowing in EP 2* but knowing this universe I can't wait [with dred and sorrow] for everyone to know Batman is Bruce Wayne lmao
